Your hosts, the Labossiere family, invite you to
visit the Adirondacks and Champlain Shores. Come experience our hospitality and a unique camping
experience at “The most beautiful campsite in the North Country”.
Four generations of the Labossiere family have lived and work on this land. Edward & Hattie
Labossiere and Clarence & Mattie Lewis originally founded it in 1969. Hattie and Mattie were
twins hence the name Twin Ells. In 1978 Eddie & Hattie’s sons Charles & Richard purchased the
business which they and their parents had worked to build from a small camping area of 20
sites to the 217 sites that it is today. In 1993 Charles’ daughter Jackie and her husband
Paul joined the team.
Having built Twin Ells through the hay fields to the forest, we believe it is our pride,
ambition and high standards & attention to the details that set Twin Ells a part.
